6 Amazing Achiever's Club - 6th Meeting

Welcome to Amazing Achiever's club news room!!!!!

We had our 6th successful Amazing achiever’s meeting on 6th June 2020. Isn't it a coincidence that our 6th meeting was on 6th!! ☺

The meeting started with me( Kaylyn) doing the Master of Ceremony. Then Shriya who did the word of the day - AURA.  Ananya did the idiom of the day. Then Kaavya shared  some interesting facts about planets and Solar System!

Rituparna asked extempore questions like what are the qualities of a best friend? which came to me! I feel a true friend is the one who lends things if you don't have it, who helps you when you are in trouble. Other questions like what are your responsibilities at home also made us think about how much do we help our parents?

Then it was playtime. Kaavya was in charge of the games and arranged a Pictionary game. It became very competitive with 2 teams - Red and Blue. 1 team had to draw a picture on zoom whiteboard and the other team had to recognize the word. It was a super fun. In the end the Red Team won with members Rituparna and Swanandi. Kaavya made beautiful congratulatory video for the winners! Then Swanandi extended  Vote of Thanks for the meeting and took our memory picture.

Since everyone's schools will be resumed in June, henceforth we decided to have biweekly club meetings. We decided our roles for next meeting and with another fantastic meeting we closed our session.

Next session will be an interesting one!! Pls stay tuned!!

Thank you

Word of the day:
Aura :
A divine light that surrounds us when we get some kind of spiritual power.
A distinct quality that seems to surround or come from somebody or something.
Eg: Lord Buddha’s aura was believed to expand through 3,500 kms from where he stood....As the body moves, so does its aura. They are two buddies but one.
In the esoteric science of spirituality, the human aura consists of multiple colors like pink, green, violet, red and blue.

Idiom of the day:
Ignorance is bliss-
Not knowing about something unpleasant can be better than knowing about it and worrying about it
Eg :Many seem to think that ignorance is bliss when it come's to politics.

Fact of the day:
Venus is the hottest planet. Though Venus being the second planet after mercury in the solar system. It is hot  because Its thick atmosphere traps heat  making it the hottest planet in our solar system with surface temperatures hot.
